Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a part-time Cook at our Irvine, CA location. You will prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold items for all meal periods in a fast-paced kitchen, following Sodexo culinary standards for quality and presentation.

You will work to maintain a clean workstation, ensure food safety, and support the team to deliver high-quality dishes. Shifts vary and interview process will outline specific responsibilities and schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Basic knowledge of operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold foods per Sodexo standards.
