Church's Chicken is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare and cook food per the Manager in Charge and the operating standards manual. You will manage batter prep, fryers, and holding times while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires physical stamina, standing for long periods, and teamwork in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with shift flexibility offered.

Qualifications

• Must follow Manager in Charge directions and operating standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain clean and safe workspace and practice sanitation.
• Communicate effectively with team and management.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the batter table, prepares batter mix and collects smallwares.
• Ensures call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Checks equipment and reports malfunctions to Manager in Charge.
• Operates fryers, maintains correct shortening levels, and filters fryers safely.
• Prepares and cooks food per business needs and Manager direction.
• Observes holding times and quality specifications per SOM.
