Responsibilities

• Sets up the batter table, collects required smallwares, and prepares batter mix.
• Ensures call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Checks equipment and reports malfunctions to the Manager in Charge.
• Balances fryers with shortening to maintain proper levels.
• Filters and cleans fryers as scheduled, following safety guidelines.
• Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs.
• Prepares and cooks food as directed by the Manager in Charge.
• Ensures all food meets specifications and quality standards per the SOM.
• Maintains clean area with clean-as-you-go practices and proper sanitation.
• Verifies product and supplies are stocked at the batter area.
• Keeps cooler organized and clean.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Manager in Charge of Shift.
