Habit Burger & Grill is hiring a Cook for a part-time role in Los Angeles. You will prepare meals from our signature Charburgers to salads, rotating through Fryer, Broiler, Make-Up, and Quarterback stations. Training includes food safety, sanitation, and skill growth to advance with the team.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Correctly prepare all foods served following standard recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously.
• Restocks food items and kitchen supplies; stores and rotates food properly and safely.
• Operate cooking equipment such as flat grills, char broiler, fryer, slicer, etc.
• Comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform.
• Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques.
• Keep work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment, cooking surfaces and utensils used in food preparation.
