Habit Burger & Grill in Elk Grove, CA is looking for a part-time Cook to bring our menu to life—from char broiler burgers to fresh salads. You will rotate through kitchen stations such as Fryer, Broiler, Make-Up, and Quarterback, receiving thorough training on food safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Correctly prepare all foods served following standard recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously.
• Restocks food items and kitchen supplies; stores and rotates food properly and safely.
• Operate cooking equipment such as flat grills, char broiler, fryer, slicer.
• Comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform.
• Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques.
• Keep work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment, cooking surfaces and utensils used in food preparation.
