Job summary

Senior Living Residences at Armbrook Village in Westfield, Massachusetts, seeks a Cook to join the caring, dining team serving our senior residents. You will prepare meals, plate dishes, and accommodate dietary needs in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Food Safety certification preferred.
• 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The cook will be responsible for preparing and plating food for meals and special events, and accommodating residents' dietary needs as required.

Requirements

• Certification: Food Safety certification, preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting
• Physical requirements : Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
