Job summary

Senior Living Residences is seeking a cook for Neville Place in Cambridge, MA. The role supports a caring dining team, preparing meals, accommodating dietary needs, and delivering superior resident service in a home-like environment.

Full-time shifts run 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with rotating weekends. The position offers benefits from day one, including health coverage, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for professional development including Dementia Practitioner certification.

Qualifications

• Food safety certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of cook experience in a fast-paced breakfast & lunch setting.
• Physical ability to lift trays and move dining tables and furniture.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality and reliability are required to support residents with daily living activities.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Full Time: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM with a rotating weekend

PAY & BENEFITS:

Rates start at $22 per hour

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The cook will be responsible for preparing and plating food for meals and special events, and accommodating residents' dietary needs as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Food Safety certification, preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced Breakfast & Lunch setting.
• Physical requirements : Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
