Job summary

Trio-Community-Meals in Olathe, KS is seeking an experienced cook/driver to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare meals from scratch and transport them to various locations daily, while adhering to safety and DOT requirements.

The role requires at least one year in a high-volume setting, strong customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. This is a full-time onsite opportunity with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a high-volume establishment with from-scratch cooking.
• Valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and/or a DOT medical card.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performing food preparation and production tasks while following recipes and safety policies.
• Ensuring proper portion and temperature control and proper storage of leftover food.
• Loading and transporting food products between locations according to schedule.
• Transporting materials safely, complying with DOT rules and traffic laws.
• Inspecting company equipment before and after each trip.
• Maintaining open communication with dispatch to report issues or delays on the route.
