The role emphasizes safe food handling, DOT compliance, and strong customer service as you work with dispatch to meet schedules. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to multitask are essential; prior high-volume cooking from scratch is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Ability to use a variety of kitchen equipment and identify food items.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Minimum 1 year in a high-volume establishment cooking from scratch.
• Valid state driver's license for commercial vehicles with clean driving record.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meals following recipes and safe food handling policies.
• Ensure proper portioning, temperature control, and storage of leftovers.
• Load and transport food products according to a schedule.
• Transport materials safely, complying with DOT rules and traffic laws.
• Inspect equipment before and after each trip.
