Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Cook to work on-site inside a jail/correctional facility in Bemidji, MN. The role starts with open availability between 7:00am and 5:00pm, including some weekends and holidays, and includes preparing hot and cold dishes, following standardized knife cuts, and ensuring food safety compliance.

You will report to a Food Service Director and collaborate with a kitchen team to deliver meals promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a cafeteria or large-volume facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with safety procedures in a cafeteria or food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food items following recipes and guidelines.
• Work at a designated station with team members to produce dishes promptly.
• Follow food safety and handling procedures and state laws on labeling and storage.
• Report to a Food Service Director and work on-site inside a jail/correctional facility.
• Maintain opening/closing checklists and prep list items at shift start.
