Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Henderson, NV is seeking a Cook to prepare meals according to standardized recipes, ensure quality and safety, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

You will follow dietary modifications, record production quantities and temps, stock and store food safely, and support dining services while leading production in the coordinator's absence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
