Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that support residents' health and enjoyment while upholding high safety standards. You will work in a clean, organized kitchen, adhering to menus and dietary requirements.

You will play a key role in ensuring quality presentation, managing inventory, and assisting with dining service as needed, with opportunities to lead food production when the coordinator is away.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
