Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, track food safety temperatures, and ensure compliance with dietary modifications and Sunrise standards.

The role includes assisting with dishwashing and dining service, and occasionally leading production in the Dining Services Coordin ator’s absence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
