Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. in Cudahy, WI seeks a Cook Controller to operate Final Cook Control and ensure proper cooking. This full-time, on-site role starts with a competitive hourly wage and benefits. You will inspect products, grade according to specs, and maintain cleanliness while supporting team goals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work in a fast-paced plant environment, and demonstrate teamwork and reliability. Training on safety PPE is provided.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect product for degree of cook and adjust Final Cook Control to insure proper cook.
• Grades product according to quality specifications.
• Maintain proper degree of cook and housekeeping in work area.
• Sanitize equipment, as needed.
• May assist in departmental cleanup as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
