The Ridge Foothill is seeking a Cook / Chef to join our senior living community in Salt Lake City. You will prepare three meals daily for residents, following provided menus and recipes, while maintaining high safety and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of kitchen experience, a solid culinary background, and a positive team attitude. This full‑time role offers competitive pay and accessible health benefits for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of professional kitchen experience preferred, with a solid foundation in safe food handling, sanitation, and proper equipment use.
• Experience in fine dining, scratch cooking, batch cooking, and banquet production highly preferred.
• Culinary degree or formal culinary training a plus
• Strong knife skills and an eye for consistent, restaurant-quality plating
• A true team player who communicates well and supports fellow cooks, servers, and staff

The Ridge Foothill is looking for a caring individual with cooking experience to join us in our passion for helping seniors. Our Cooks / Chefs prepare three meals a day for our residents following prepared menus and recipes. If you have a special recipe, we'd love that you'd share that with us, too. Plus, we are conveniently located very close to I-80 and Foothill Blvd. Why commute any further?
