Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Biloxi, Mississippi invites applicants to join the Beau Rivage Buffet as a Cook. You will prepare a diverse range of dishes across multiple stations in a high-volume setting, ensuring flavor, quality and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of production cooking experience, a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and a willingness to contribute to a fast-paced, guest-focused kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Restock, label, and rotate products to ensure freshness and readiness for service.
• Maintain knowledge of buffet offerings, including presentation, portioning, and flavor profiles.
• Support kitchen leadership and teammates to ensure smooth service during peak meal periods.
• Prepare base sauces, stocks, soups, and side dishes with precision and consistency.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a wide variety of menu options with efficiency.

As a Cook , you help bring an incredible array of cuisines to life-preparing everything from made-to-order entrées and international specialties to signature comfort favorites. THE STARTING RATE:

$16.56 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Apply solid culinary techniques to prepare dishes across multiple stations in a fast-paced buffet setting

• Collaborate with team members to deliver a wide variety of menu options with efficiency and excellence

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Meets the minimum age requirement of 18+ years of age
• Preferably demonstrates 1+ years of experience in production cooking
• Exhibits flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
