Job summary

Bell Tower Residence in Merrill, WI is seeking an Assisted Living Cook who is compassionate and dependable. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents and maintain clean, sanitized work spaces in compliance with state and federal regs.

The role is part-time, on-site with PM shifts (10:00am-6:30pm) including every other weekend and some holidays. Prior long-term care cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans and sanitizes food service equipment and work area.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows the sanitation standards.
• Ability to interact appropriately with residents, public and co-workers.
• Prepares and serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
• Plans and schedules work day to meet meal deadlines.
• Has basic knowledge of special diets and that they are served correctly.
• Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

A Cook at Bell Tower Residence is compassionate and dependable. In this role, you will provide good nutritious meals to our residents. The cook will also clean and sanitize equipment and work spaces in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour dependent on experience
