Job summary

Paycom in Mobile, AL is seeking a Part Time with Benefits Food Service worker to prepare and serve nutritious meals, assist in food prep, and maintain kitchen cleanliness in a cooperative team setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of cooking experience for large groups; Serv-Safe and state food handling certifications are preferred. You’ll work 20+ hours weekly with on-site duties and a focus on safety and quality.

Job Details: Job Location: ALM-Coastal Alabama Area Command - Mobile, AL, Position Type: Part Time with Benefits 20 or More, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $11.00 - $11.00Hourly, Job Category: Food Service, Schedule/Hours: Days/hours vary; (28 hours per week)

This position is responsible for:

• Prepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules. Ensuring meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner.
• Assists in preparation of meals. Stores, refrigerates, and freezes foods in a safe manner
• Cleans dining area. Cleans kitchen facilities and equipment. Maintains high degree of cleanliness in kitchen and dining area
• Maintain inventory of kitchen food and supplies to meet needs of kitchen. Receive donated goods and processes gifts-in-kind documentation.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 25-50 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Ability to cook, taste, and smell food
• Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Licenses and Certifications:
