NexCare WellBridge Senior Living is seeking a Cook in Fenton, MI. You will prepare nourishing meals, work with the Executive Chef on menus, and ensure meals meet portion control, sanitary regulations, and company policies. The role offers a new hourly rate and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals following guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate food production to align with meal serving times ensuring quality, temperature, and appearance.
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.
• Assist with daily kitchen cleaning requirements.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• Full Time position with rotating weekends and some holidays
• Day Shift / Mornings
• No late nights!

How you will help people every day:

• You will prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• You will coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved
• You may assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• You will assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures. Experience in a Long Term Care facility is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
