Job summary

Northgate Care Center is seeking a Cook to join our team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality meals, adhering to dietary needs, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in a skilled nursing dining environment.

Shifts run 11:30a–6:30p, with every other weekend required. The facility offers growth opportunities and a supportive team culture for dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
• Ability to work 11:30a-6:30p shift and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensures our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Northgate Care Center by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food.
