Join Turlock Nursing & Rehab Center as a Cook! We are offering a full-time position with a pay rate of $20 - $22 per hour. We are willing to train the right candidate. Share Application

Position Summary

Prepare food in accordance with the medical needs of patients and all current federal, state, and local regulations, as directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of food preparation and cooking experience, preferably in a hospital, nursing care, or related medical facility.
• Ability to meet all health and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review menus to ensure ingredients are available and ready.
• Prepare meals according to patient needs and preferences.
• Maintain and file menus according to company policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety, food storage, and cleaning standards.
• Serve and interact with patients/residents to ensure a positive meal experience.
• Assist in setting up and adjusting food service production lines to ensure meals are complete, accurate, and served on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment according to standards and regulations.
