Job summary

BRUB - Brubakers North Coast LP in Ohio is seeking motivated cooks to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and serve meals according to our menu and recipes, maintain proper plate presentation, and support other kitchen duties.

Ideal candidates have the ability to follow written and oral instructions, work well in a team, and have solid references. We offer a flexible schedule with both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Prefer 1 year of restaurant/service industry experience.
• Knowledge of service standards and systems.
• Ability to perform duties in a team environment.
• Solid references.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in serving meals in accordance with the menu and recipes.
• Provide proper plate-up and portion control.
• Maintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation.
• Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety and sanitary practices.
• Stock supplies.
• Assist bartender with stocking ice, beer, and supplies; washing and sanitizing glassware, serving food to guests, cleaning and prepping food and fruits, etc.
