Job summary

BRUB - Brubakers North Coast LP is seeking motivated cooks to prepare and serve meals in line with menus and recipes. You will handle plate-ups, portion control, and maintain safe food storage practices in a team-oriented kitchen.

Responsibilities include assisting with side work, setup/breakdown, and ensuring sanitary standards. Experience in a restaurant setting and solid references are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Prefer 1 year of restaurant/service industry experience.
• Knowledge of service standards and systems.
• Ability to perform duties in a team environment.
• Solid references.

• Prepare and assist in serving meals in accordance with the menu and recipes.
• Provide proper plate-up and portion control.
• Maintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation.
• Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety and sanitary practices.
• Stock supplies.
• Assist bartender with stocking ice, beer, and supplies; washing and sanitizing glassware, serving food to guests, cleaning and prepping food and fruits, etc.
