Job summary

Shriners Children’s Spokane is seeking a part-time Cook to join our patient meal service and cafeteria team on site in Spokane, WA. You will prepare and cook food for patients, catering, and meals, while following diet orders, allergies, and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes accurate records, safe food handling, and collaboration with dietitians and front-line staff. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, a Washington State Food Workers Permit, and preferably culinary training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Washington State Food Workers Permit required.
• Culinary school graduate preferred.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certificate preferred.
• Experience: 3 years institutional cooking and 1 year food service preferred.
