Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is recruiting a full-time Cook for the Dietary Department in Shippensburg, PA. Hours are 6 am–6 pm with every other weekend rotation; a $500 sign-on bonus is offered. Duties include preparing meals per recipes, serving patients and staff, and maintaining kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ServeSafe certification is preferred. This training will be offered if the employee is not already ServeSafe certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes.
• Must have knowledge of the menu and products used in the dietary department.
• Serves meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs.
• Maintains and cleans assigned areas including kitchen, dining rooms, storage and receiving areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff.
• Assists in ordering of supplies and food products and completes weekly inventory of items.

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17.
