Job summary

Friends Hospital, the nation’s oldest private psychiatric hospital in Philadelphia, is seeking a Cook on a Per Diem (PRN) basis. Under supervision of the Lead Cook, you will participate in the production of meals for patients and staff while following safety and sanitation standards.

Previous food service experience and a High School diploma are required; on-the-job training provided. This role offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to a busy hospital kitchen on a beautiful campus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School with course work in culinary arts or food service, or equivalent experience.
• One year of experience in food production.

Under supervision of the Lead Cook, the Cook participates in the production of food.

Qualifications

Graduation from High School with course work which has included courses in the culinary arts or food service or supplemented by courses in cooking or equivalent experience. One year of experience in food production.
