Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a Cook in San Diego to showcase high standards of quality in presentation, preparation, and cooking. The role may require flexible scheduling to meet guest needs.

The position emphasizes following brand recipes, maintaining kitchen stock, and adhering to health and safety regulations while delivering exceptional guest experiences at our hotel.

Qualifications

• Follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items

• Basic knowledge of operating all Food & Beverage equipment

Responsibilities

Job Requirements:

• Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel
• Ensuring the kitchen remains well-stocked at all times
• Receiving food and beverage orders as needed
• Follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking food to serve guests
• Preparing and plating all food items on the menu
• Using hot food preparation machines such as ovens, stoves, and microwaves to cook or heat food
