Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center is seeking an experienced Cook to join our Food Services team. You will prepare and serve meals, follow menus, and ensure timely service while observing therapeutic diet guidelines and safety standards.

Ideal candidates read instructions clearly, communicate in English, lift up to 50 pounds, and are comfortable in a Christian retirement community. Benefits include comprehensive insurance and paid time off.

What You'll Do

• Check and record food and storage temperatures.
• Keep the kitchen, equipment, and work areas clean and sanitized.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of cooking experience in a restaurant, nursing home, or institutional setting.
• Food service sanitation certification or course completion.

Work Environment

• Kitchen and dining room settings.
• Regular exposure to hot equipment, steam, and hot water.
• Typical healthcare environment serving older adults.

Full-Time

• 37.5 hours per week / $18.00-24.00hr depending on experience
• 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• Weekdays and weekends
