Job summary

Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for patients and staff in a fast-paced hospital kitchen. You will follow the approved menu cycle and production sheets to ensure meals meet dietary guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2 years of quantity cooking experience, knowledge of modified diets, and sanitation training with a food handler’s permit. Experience with industrial kitchen equipment is a plus.

Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24‑hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.
