Job summary

Kingwood Pines Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Cook to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for patients and staff according to the approved menu cycle.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of quantity cooking experience, with knowledge of modified diets and food safety practices; a food handler's permit may be required and experience with industrial kitchen equipment is preferred.

Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24‑hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.
