Description

The Line Cook works with a team to provide excellent, delicious, and consistently prepared food in a fast-paced environment. The role involves proficiently cooking recipes at five stations, prepping all ingredients, and adhering to food safety and ServSafe procedures. Maintaining a positive attitude during busy shifts and assisting team members and the Kitchen Manager are essential. Key traits include great service, attitude, and teamwork.

Job Activities

• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service
• Cook menu items collaboratively with kitchen staff
• Clean stations and kitchen
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure high-quality, timely food output
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and customers
• Complete temperature logs and checklists for cleaning and maintenance
• Participate in all kitchen roles, including dishwashing when needed

Requirements

• Proven cooking experience, including as a line chef/prep cook
