Job summary

Cardinal Senior Living's Oak Leaf Manor South in Millersville, PA is seeking a part-time Cook to join our caregiving team. As lead in the kitchen when the Chef is absent, you will ensure meals are prepared to high standards and that the kitchen closes cleanly while meeting state and local regulations.

The position is 2nd shift, 11 a.m.–7 p.m., with no late nights. Benefits include weekly pay, paid time off, and opportunities for growth within a dedicated eldercare environment.

Qualifications

• Prior cook experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of scratch cooking is a definite plus.
• Ability to lead others in a positive way.
• Comfort standing for 8–10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff in the absence of the Chef.
• Ensure closing cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare meals with attention to quality and timing.

Oak Leaf Manor South is looking for a part time hardworking, caring Cook to add to our team! Oak Leaf Manor South prides itself in the care and enrichment that we provide to our residents. We specialize in personal care along with Dementia care.

Cooks are the lead for the kitchen in the absence of the Chef. They are responsible for all staff completing their job correctly and in a timely fashion, the closing cleanliness of the kitchen as well as meeting state and local regulations.

Part Time 2nd Shift 11 a.m. - 7pm. No late nights!

The starting pay range for this position is from $16.00 per hour,

Employees are required to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
