Job summary

Savant Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our Dining Services team in Norwalk, CA. You will prepare and provide appealing, nutritious, heart-healthy meals for residents, prospective residents, families, and guests in a supportive care environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of kitchen experience, and strong English skills. Experience in senior care is a plus. Excellent benefits and a competitive pay rate are offered.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• At least two years’ experience with food preparation, food purchasing, kitchen safety sanitation, and menu preparation in a restaurant, health care facility, or institution.
• Speak, read, and understand the English language.
• Read and follow instructions, recipe books, menus, and food labels correctly.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work well with all people, particularly the elderly.
• May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification.

What you will do:
