Job summary

Deercreek Senior Living in Mesa, AZ is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team of professionals serving residents and families. You will read and follow recipes, prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and ensure high quality presentation with strict sanitation.

About the Opportunity

Our senior living community is currently seeking a Cook to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community.

Provide efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff.

Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures and high‑quality food preparation and presentation.

Order, receive, and rotate stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director.

Read and follow recipes to ensure consistency of the product.

Prepare and serve food items for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.

Assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.

Be knowledgeable in food preparation techniques and presentation.

Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience (some short order cooking) and quantity cooking.
• Must possess Serv‑Safe certification, or be willing to obtain upon hire.
