Part Time Cook – Autumn Embers Senior Living

Autumn Embers Senior Living is currently seeking a Part Time Cook to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community.

About the Opportunity

Ensures efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff. Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation. Orders, receives, and rotates stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow recipes to ensure consistency of the product.
• Prepare and serve food items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as assigned.
• Assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.
• Be knowledgeable in food preparation techniques and presentation.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs of residents and required meal prep techniques.
