While we are hiring for standard cooks, we are also looking for an allergen cook. For this position, you must be an experienced culinarian, detail-oriented, adhere to Allergen recipes, have the ability to multi-task, and prepare dishes for those with sensitive dietary restrictions.

This position is a UFCW 1776 union position.

Job Summary

Responsible for the quality, quantity, and timeliness of that day's meal production. Prepares food according to Parkhurst recipes, standards, and procedures under strict sanitary conditions.

Essential Functions

1. Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce the “batch” cooking method.
2. Ensure the quality of the food produced and maintain it throughout the service period, utilizing production sheets.
3. Ensure proper line presentation: proper pans, garnishing, utensils, and food temperatures.
4. Maintain open communication with team members regarding food items.
5. Complete daily production sheets and proper storage of food items.
6. Follow HACCP guidelines and cleaning schedules, using “clean as you go” techniques.
7. Maintain proper personal hygiene and uniform standards.
8. Follow Parkhurst Gold Standards and hospitality imperatives.
9. Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned.
