Job summary

Vantage Point Retirement Living, Inc. in Exton, PA is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team.

You will prepare meals per standardized recipes and coordinate production with service times, ensuring quality and safety for our senior residents. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of food preparation experience with full-line items.
• Culinary training or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items utilizing standardized recipes.
• Determine food and supplies needed.
• Coordinate meal production with service hours.
• Monitor food items for temperature, taste, and quality.
• Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and serving per menu and recipes.
• Oversee proper food storage procedures.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties.
• Maintain food safety and temperature records.
• Practice safety and loss prevention measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description of responsibilities:

• Prepare food items utilizing standardized recipes

Required experience:

• High school diploma/GED
