Job summary

Parkview Estates in Kennewick, Washington, is seeking a Full-Time Cook to prepare and serve meals, oversee the foodservice operation, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available. This role includes maintaining a safe kitchen environment and complying with sanitation codes.

The ideal candidate will have cooking experience and must possess a Food Handler's card. We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, PTO, and a 401-K.

Qualifications

• Can obtain Food Handler's card and meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• Typical candidates have one year of cooking experience.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form.
• Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately.
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.

Job description

Full-Time/ 11 AM - 7 PM Thursday through Sunday.

- Must Have Experience -
