Urban Egg is hiring a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to creating delicious, high-quality meals in a fun and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, maintain high standards of food safety, and be available daytime and weekends in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or similar culinary role in a full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Daytime and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet timing standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
• Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.
