Regency Omak Rehabilitation & Nursing in Omak, WA is seeking a Part-time cook to prepare and serve meals and oversee foodservice operations for residents. You will follow menu cycles, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available.

You currently need a Food Handlers card and state health requirements, plus the ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Join our team to provide compassionate, quality meals for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or cooking preferred.
• Ability to follow menus and sanitation standards.
• Must read/write/speak English.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions on proper form.
• Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify deliveries, and restock as needed.
• Ensure resident food preferences are known and followed.

Part-Time

• Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed

You Currently:

• Can obtain a Food Handlers card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
