Job summary

The Arbor Company in Greenville, SC is seeking a friendly Cook for a part-time role at a senior living community. The position offers a 6a-2p or 11a-7p schedule, with every other weekend required, and a starting wage of $20.00 per hour.

You will prepare meals from established recipes, follow dietary guidelines, keep the kitchen clean and organized, support operations, and collaborate with the Dining Director to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Cooking using established recipes and menus.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and portion control.
• Experience with special diets or senior living a plus.
• Ability to cook for large groups (100+ preferred).
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for serving others.
• ServSafe Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals using established recipes and menu cycles.
• Follow dietary guidelines and special meal modifications.
• Support kitchen operations including deliveries, inventory rotation, and logs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
