Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a qualified food service cook for St. David’s Georgetown Hospital in Georgetown, TX.

Under general supervision, you will prepare and cook a variety of food items according to menus and production sheets, while maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen and practicing HACCP guidelines. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of healthcare and quantity cooking experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• 1+ years of quantity cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items following menus, recipes and production sheets.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with HACCP/food safety guidelines.
• Communicates with production staff regarding menus, recipes and portions sizes.
• Fosters a culture aligned with the organization's vision, mission and values.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures

Utilizes proper equipment to produce standard recipes.

Participate in training with other members of the production staff to further develop/advance within the industry.

What qualifications you will need:

High School Graduate\Equivalent preferred

1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred

1 + years of experience in quantity cooking preferred
