Job summary

MaineHealth's Franklin Hospital in Farmington, ME is seeking a full-time Cook to join the patient and staff meal program. The role includes 36 hours per week, daytime shifts with alternating weekends, and responsibilities for preparing foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees.

Franklin Hospital is seeking a full time Cook to join their team!

Summary

This position consists of 36 hours per week, day shifts with alternating weekends.
The Cook role is responsible for preparation of foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees. Assures the facility's cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
3. Experience: One year of relevant food production experience required. One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.
