Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals that align with standardized recipes and resident dietary needs. You will ensure high quality, safe handling, and appealing presentation in a clean kitchen environment.

As a team member, you’ll record production quantities, monitor temperatures, and support dishwashing and dining service. You may lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator, contributing to a positive dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
• You help create an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring safety and compliance
