Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc in Vienna, VA is hiring a Cook to prepare meals per standardized recipes, ensure quality, taste and presentation, and follow dietary modifications for residents. You will record production quantities, maintain hygiene, and support dishwashing and dining services as needed.

In the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator, you may lead food production to keep meals running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare meals according to recipes and menus.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to follow dietary restrictions and modifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
