Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in West Orange, NJ is seeking a Cook – Line Cook to prepare meals for residents according to standardized recipes and menus. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following dietary modifications and safety regulations.

The role involves recording production, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting dining services as needed. You will lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator and contribute to a positive dining experience that

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
• You help create an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring safety and compliance
