Responsibilities

• Prepares food for patients, staff, and visitors of the healthcare facility following safe cooking techniques.
• Prepares food for multiple therapeutic diets and complies with state and federal laws and regulations related to food preparation in a healthcare environment.
• Supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Two (2) years food service experience.
• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licensure

• If required by your state, county, or local health code, you must obtain a Food Handler Permit within 30 days of hire or as mandated by local regulations. Permits vary by location, e.g., ANSI Accredited FHP or ServSafe in Arizona, California, Texas, etc.

Pay Range

$11.00 - $14.53 / hour
