  • We have several openings for full-time COOK positions.
  • Location: Cleveland Clinic - 9500 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44195 Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time; some evenings, weekends, and holidays. SHIFTS: 5-1pm, 6-2pm, and 12-8pm
  • Requirement: Prior professional cooking experience required.
  • Pay Range: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring high-quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and instructions.
  • Serve meals with proper portioning, correct temperatures, and attractive presentation; taste all prepared food.
  • Use established ticket procedures; maintain records during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas; handle excess food safely.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  • Report maintenance issues and safety hazards immediately.
  • Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  • Maintain good relationships with coworkers and clients.
  • Follow HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety policies, including proper glove and equipment usage.
