Job summary

Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our skilled nursing facility in Delmar, NY. The role operates 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, two days per week with alternating weekends, delivering meals that meet dietary needs and quality standards.

Compensation is $16.00–$17.00 per hour with Daily Pay option. Candidate will prepare, portion, and serve meals while maintaining safety and sanitation compliance in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare or institutional setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
