Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Dietary Cook for Cortlandt Manor. You will prepare meals following applicable standards and policies, under the supervision of the Food Services Director. The role requires strong communication and teamwork to maintain high-quality food service at all times.

We offer a role that values health and safety, with opportunities to work both independently and as part of a team in a center focused on rehabilitation and nursing care. Daily pay is available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic food preparation and therapeutic diets.
• Ability to manage and direct staff assigned to your position.
• A medical examination or physician's note indicating freedom from communicable disease on employment.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Effective communication with others.

Responsibilities

Cortlandt Manor is searching for a Dietary Cook to join their growing team.

Cook Job Description:

To prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulation, with our established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Food Services Director or designee, to assure quality food service is provided at all times.

Cook Requirements/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic food preparation & therapeutic diets.
• Ability to manage and direct staff assigned to your position.
• A physical examination and/or evidence from a physician indicating freedom of communicable disease to be available upon employment.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Effectively communicate with others.

Salary: Up to $25 an hour
